Hannah & Dylan | An Elegant Affair at Twickenham House & Hall – Jefferson, NC

All I can say about Hannah & Dylan’s wedding is WOW!

Hannah & Dylan tied the knot earlier this month at Twickenham House & Hall in Jefferson, NC, and I’ll say… these two know how to put on a wedding!

The day began with the ladies prepping in the Versace Suite in Twickenham’s gorgeous mansion. The entire house is garnished with Victorian furniture, tall windows with lots of natural light and an elegance befitting of Hannah & Dylan’s big day.

Hannah’s style is absolutely impeccable and her wedding dress, veil and shoes perfectly complimented the grace and refinement of Twickenham. I LOVED her floral Nine West shoes. Dylan’s wedding day ensemble was just as sophisticated as his lovely bride’s. These two make such a stunning couple!

With the ladies hidden away, the oh-so-talented Jessica Maceda–the Wayfaring Wanderer–snapped photos of Dylan and his groomsmen. In the meantime, I hung out with the ladies in preparation for photos on the lawn of the manor house.

Hannah’s bridesmaids did their duty and hid her from guests arriving via shuttle. I just love these!

While Hannah & Dylan decided against a first look, they chose a first touch and note exchange as a way for them to have a special moment before the ceremony.

Let’s stop for a second and give a huge shout out to the very talented Hannah Hunt of Golden Thistle Design. Her bridal bouquets and “moongate arbor” were showstoppers!! This lovely arch adorned the overlook and ceremony space at the top of Twickenham’s property. Hannah & Dylan tied the knot on the top of the world!

After their brief ceremony, we took advantage of the backdrop and forest for bridal party photos.

And of course, THE shot that every photographer dreams about at Twickenham…

Hannah & Dylan’s reception was a par-tay of the first accord. With dances in front of a massive stone fireplace adorned with macrame, a cake cutting and the traditional bouquet and garter toss, they took advantage of all the wedding traditions. E.P.E.C. Entertainment kept the party going!

I had SUCH an amazing time photographing Hannah & Dylan’s big day! I love working with other High Country locals and they certainly went all out for their wedding day. Congrats to Hannah & Dylan and #cheerstothealloniers!
