My biggest goal on your wedding day is to be your photographer and also your guide. I recognize that wedding days can get chaotic even with the best planning. I’m here to keep the ball rolling while also honoring the day as it unfolds — spontaneity is the joy of life after all!
When you choose to work with me, I'm here to support you, not just on your wedding day, but leading up to the event as well. Whether that's weeks or years in the making, I want to get to know you through this process. I check in with my clients periodically. I also make a photography timeline that I sync with your day-of timeline so that the day runs smoothly. I'm a planner at heart. I will take your priorities and make them flow with the day in a way that feels seamless.

Engagement sessions are SO. MUCH. FUN. Why? Because engagement sessions give you the opportunity to get to know me as your photographer, they allow you to get comfy in front of the camera AND we get to chase amazing locations throughout Boone and the Blue Ridge Mountains. We also get to choose the timing for our shoot. ALL of these things take stress off of you on your wedding day. Less wedding stress — I mean how amazing is that!

For me as a photographer, I want to capture emotions and action in my wedding photos. I’m always chasing beautiful scenery, of course! However, my focus is to create a collection of wedding photos for you that really showcases the dynamic between you and your partner. I think it’s important for each couple to honor their own experiences and celebrate their wedding day in a way that suits their relationship.
My favorite clients have been folks who want to have a laid-back, fun wedding celebration with their closest people. Food, music and laughter are important to my clients. There’s usually dancing, kids running wild and the warm glow on faces around a fire pit.

My typical turnaround time for wedding galleries is 3-4 weeks.
During the busy season (August - December), My turnaround time can be up to 4-6 weeks. I will always keep you updated and check in with you around 4 weeks and followup weekly until your gallery is delivered.
