Steph & Eric’s anniversary session was everything.
I photographed their wedding in September 2016 in Durham, NC. Steph and I worked together lonnnggggg ago when I still lived in the Triangle. Their wedding was so laid back and fun–I couldn’t have asked for better wedding clients! So when they contacted me about doing an anniversary session here in the High Country, I was all about it.
We went to one of my favorite place to shoot–Beacon Heights. This trail offers so many interesting options for a photo session. The overlook is stunning, but the trails and even the area near the parkway are dynamic. We had a good time 🙂
In this session, I wanted to make sure to capture images that Steph & Eric would love. I also pushed myself to focus more on candids and changed up my editing style. Getting out of my comfort zone is my 2018 motto. I feel really good about the results and Steph & Eric loved them too.
I hope that these two keep coming back as I love working with them both!
I've been photographing families, couples and businesses in the NC High Country since 2016. I also empower women through body-positive photography and creating local community.
I'm a fun and funky, deep feeling momma and mountain woman.
