Proposals are such special moments in time for you and your new fĂance. The nerves are high and the stakes feel steep. However, the excitement and fun of these moments make it all worth it!
My job as your photographer is to help you refine your plan for your proposal and make sure things go as smoothly as possible. Proposals take more planning than normal shoots because of the element of surprise. That's why I'm on your team. I've been shooting proposals throughout the region for quite some time now and I even wrote a blog post about my top Tips for Surprise Proposals on the Blue Ridge Parkway.
If you're planning a proposal in the Boone, Blowing Rock, Banner Elk or West Jefferson area, let's chat.
Proposal sessions include pre-planning via call, text, and email; capturing the proposal and a 20-30 minute portrait session. Also included my proposal packages are digital copies of your images, an online viewing gallery that you can share with guests and family and where you can order archival quality prints, and a print release that allows you to print the images for personal use.
Proposals are highly anticipated and I understand that the goal is to capture images of the moment for sharing and posterity. Thus, all of my proposal packages are turned around in 48 hours from the scheduled time of the session.
Some of my favorite locations for proposals are Beacon Heights, Rough Ridge (depending on the time of year), Moses Cone Memorial Park, and downtown Blowing Rock. Most clients have an idea of where they would like to propose. My job is to help clients decide the specifics of the day and come up with a plan.
Yes! Your print release allows you to print your images wherever you'd like. I do have a disclaimer though regarding quality. Not all printers have the same standards for print quality and color integrity. All of the print offerings through my gallery are produced through a service that provides archival (will last forever) quality materials that are color-corrected for the computer that I edit on.
