The Zimmerman Family | Introducing Willow Rose

In-home family sessions are my new favorite thing… Introducing Willow Rose!

About two weeks ago, Chelsea of Flightless Bird Photography invited me into her home to photograph the newest addition to the Zimmerman family — Willow Rose Zimmerman. This little bundle made an appearance on April 12th, which was over a month earlier than expected. And she brought with her so much joy!

While I was there, Willow spent most of her time snuggled up asleep. This gave us the perfect opportunity to photograph the entire family together. I especially love the photos of her big brother Landon kissing his little sister. I’m sure he will be the best big brother!

Their dog Khaleesi (or “deesi” for short per Landon) is still adjusting to the newest addition to the family <3

I always get a little nervous (and flattered) when I have another photographer ask me for photos. However, working with a photographer has it’s perks! Chelsea was totally game to try a milk bath photography mini-session. I had never photographed a milk bath before. Here are the results:

I’m thrilled with how these photos turned out and the beauty of momma and baby really warms my heart! Thanks again to Chelsea, Steven, Landon and Willow for allowing me into their home for this session.
